Was bleibt von einem Träumer, der glaubte seine Träume im Wirklichen finden zu können? So als gäbe es sie hier, müssten irgendwo versteckt sein, wenn doch nichts, das wir erträumen können, je wahr sein kann?

I remember well my first visit at this place. I returned from a travel, had driven the whole night just to arrive there in time. It was still dark, cold, and I was alone. This year, I had planned to photograph these trees in mist with foliage. I observed the weather forecast for quite some while. There was mist on two different days but I was too far away to make it happen. A couple of days late, I gave it a third and last try. The day before, I wandered around a little just to kill some time. Frankly, I was surprised that shooting in bright daylight really could turn out nice. There was not much foliage left, a few trees were already blank, but I suppose only this made it happen that the sunlight fell through the treetops and created this scenery. The next morning, I was finally successful with capturing mist as well. This will be Part II of this little series, upcoming soon.
